The Sustainability Customer

Organizations often grapple with effectively promoting their sustainability initiatives while remaining aligned with corporate goals. The emotional and complex nature of sustainability makes it challenging to strike the right balance in communicating successes and fostering support without being perceived as disingenuous.

Ebbs And Flows

Nature has a rhythm of ebbs and flows; day vs night.  waves crashing, seasons of the year, etc.  Few things remain static or are in a simple state of stop and go.  Most of the time we interact with the sun is the time between sunrise and sunset.  Yet we attribute special meaning to the sunrise and […]

99 Pursuits & This Problem Ain’t One

99 Pursuits & This Problem Ain’t One I heard a Mediterranean diet is both healthy and tasty.  It was Thursday, just came from the grocery store, had a kitchen full of fresh ingredients, and an under-utilized air fryer!  All systems go!  Given the amount of cleaning, chopping, and veggie prep required, I solicited my 16yo daughter to join […]

Robots Do Not Care

Robots make great scapegoats because they don’t mind if you disparage them.
As I reflect on my career in technology consulting, challenges I commonly encounter in projects typically have a very humanistic root cause and rarely are core problems derived from the technology itself. The problem typically is us humans struggle to implement the technology in such a way that it enhances our ourselves. Instead, we end up fighting against the technology and ourselves. I could point to various reasons, but the fact is, we like to scapegoat the technology as the source of the problem.
